Just for fun and a change of pace, I recreated the collage image as an oil painting. Actually, it was just the urge to paint one night that compelled me to re-create the collage. So there you have it. Some of the images have sprouted from dreams others from the flotsam and jetsam of my collage 'stuff'.
Your work is different and wonderful. I especially love this painting from the collage. Has a little Chagall feeling but I like your colors even better. I agree with what you said about paintings taking on a character of their own. So true! Thank you for inspiring me.
