Springtime in Ohio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Birds galore spring peepers peeping sunshine and warm air hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...................
Beautiful, I miss Spring, all those possibilities, love the wavy water reflections and coltsfoot, I had quite forgotten, we used to have coltsfoot candy sticks for colds and sore throats. Expect the painting sap will be rising any day now.x
Coltsfoot candy sticks..unusual. How did they taste? Coltsfoot is a non native plant in Ohio, but my excitement when I see it doesn't change as its one of our first flowers of spring. Spring is full of possibilities, earth changes almost every day, new color, new birdsong. Irony of spring?----It's snowing like crazy right now, a foot of snow possible!
Oooooooooooo how I miss the Spring Peepers... that most marvelous of 'Spring in Ohio' sounds....great marshy shot you share with us...makes me yearn for those long early spring walks in the cuyahoga valley. I haven't been over your way in a while so HAPPY sale and painting being shipped off to Colorado.
oh yes and happy 'walls going up on your studio' in the not toooo distant future!!
it's great to hear from you! thanks for the congrats on the sale, the painting arrived safe and sound, the new owner is quite happy--a great feeling all around. and yes to the walls going up! and yes to Spring--I'm off to the woods now.
