How can We Eat THIS?

My Pastry Chef daughter made this wonderful work of art for Thanksgiving dessert.   YUM! Beautiful!!!

Plus pie?  My not the pastry chef son  (although, he did work with me  as pie maker's assistant when I was a pie maker) is making two apple pies and I'm making two pumpkin pies.

Gluttons?  Yes!  Lots of people to help eat all the wonderfulness, yes!

Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. My compliments to the pastry chef!!
She is clearly an artist with food...I'm sure it will taste as good as it looks.
    Happy Day of Thanks!

  2. That cake is so beautiful and sugary looking. To answer your question? I assume it was made to be eaten, and I would gladly eat it. Especially if it were a chocolate cake.

  3. Beautiful. Now that you have the photos, you can eat it--looks delicious. My parents allowed us to eat desserts first; maybe this could be breakfast.

  4. It would be hard to cut into! I imagine that once you did you didn't look back..lol..I wonder if it wouldn't make a good painting!?

  5. OMG, I went into a sugar coma just looking at it!
    That's a work of art!
