Peace on a Sunny Day

YES.       on this sun filled day.  easy to breathe peace.

peace
it doesn't mean to be in a place
where there is no noise, trouble or
hard work.  it means to be in the midst
of those things and still
be calm in your heart.----unknown

(unfortunately i don't remember the name of the artist who made the awesome hand, but her work was innovative, expressive and spoke to me.  the hand sits in front of my studio.  love her work!)

  1. terrific quote to go with a magnificent hand...when I first saw it I thought...my lands have you added another talent to your toolkit?
Howz that studio looking these days...I may have missed the update pictures...can you direct me to the date that you posted them?

  2. ha...i had to laugh, i wish i had made the hand. the artist i bought it from is from Ohio, i bought the piece this summer at a festival in Chardon, Ohio. the minute i saw it, i knew it would go home w/ me and take up residence as studio/yard art.
the new studio is coming along. we've been stalled lately, those silly things called jobs have been interfering with our time. humph!

i love the papier mache works posted on your sight. the duck is great!
    enjoy your visit w/ karin!
(pics soon of the studio, when we reach the next stage; insulation, drywall. the plan is to be in by spring!)

  3. Condolences to you on the loss of both your parents (I see this on your sidebar). My parents are both in Heaven too. No matter what our age--and their age..we don't want to give them up. I "keep in touch" with mine though...and I bet you do with yours too. :)
