--forgive me here, not sure how to put in a link) blog yesterday and discovering the Pay it Forward concept going on in the artist's blog community, I was intriqued with the idea. Like Tracy says in her blog,(the humbug thing), I tend toward skepticism when it comes to this kindof stuff. But this is fun...it'll be interesting to see or find out how far it goes.
The added bonus for me is to have a piece of Tracy's gracing my humble walls!
So here is how it goes:
I will send a handmade gift (in my case I can specify that it WILL be a painting, probably a small one, but the real thing) to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.
When you leave your comment, please also do one of two things: leave your post address or e-mail it to me.

ReplyDeleteyou're good to go! love the fabrics, pillows and especially the books. like many artists, i have this thing for books, especially homemade, funky, with cool papers...i've started buying sketchbooks and covering them in gorgeous fabrics and giving them as gifts.
if you don't get pif responses, i would graciously love to receive a gift from you...give it some time..
I need one more, it's taken about 6 days.

ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not native Californian--grew up in PA. I've been out here since 1981--lived in SF for 12 years & have been out here in the boonies ever since. I love it! So am I supposed to go ahead & put my Pay it Forward post up, or do I wait for you to get your 3rd person? (I've never done this before)

ReplyDeleteI've never done the pif before either. I went ahead and put it out there when I was Tracy's third. So, I think since I intend to honor my contract with Tracy even though I don't have a third person yet, you could probably post yours. I firmly believe a third person will happen for me!
