    absolutely lovely...a word picture that can stand on its own even if we didn't have the great photo.

    A haiku?... I forgot to count the syllables.

    Fabulous lotus blossom. Do you have Harriers in your zone? Splendid birds.

    'word picture", yes.
    i don't know if it's a haiku~~i don't remember exactly how they work, but it does have that feel doesn't it?
    and yes, we do have harriers in our area, although its been a while since i've seen one, it was just beautiful!
